Welcome to NCI Chess Society! We're open to new members with any level of skill, from beginners to pros' we cater to everyones needs. If you're new to chess we will happily teach you step-by-step!
Founded by a group of students interested in bringing the worlds oldest game to NCI, our goal has always been to share our love of chess with like-minded people and to teach it to new players. Chess is universally accesable, it transcends age, language and ethnicity making it a great way to meet and bond with people with different backgrounds.
Tournament Games and Practise
We host weekly tournament games and friendly practise matches on Lichess.org which is a great site for playing remotely with each other in these distanced times and also for practising against the computer.
